My baby girl Lola
« on: January 06, 2012, 01:48:59 PM »

Baby girl, I'm so sorry. It was my job to protect you and keep you safe.  I should have found a way to prevent this from happening.  I'm so sorry droopy drawers. You fought so hard and you won! You beat the Blasto.  This is so unfair.  Grandma says maybe this was Gods way of saving me from having to watch you get sick again or saving you from having to fight so hard again.  I don't know?  I don't know why God wanted you in heaven so badly?   I miss you so much my beautiful baby girl.  You were the sunshine of my life, my best friend and I will love you forever.  Thank you for being my baby girl.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss.  What a pretty girl.  I grew up with Basset Hounds and I know what a sweet dog they are.  I feel all your heartache right now.  Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.  Perhaps Lola and Timber met in Dog Heaven and are running around and having a good time.  Those are the thoughts I need to imagine.  With much sympathy.  Kristine

My heart hurts for you Lisa. Lola made a great Blasto educator out of you, perhaps that was her purpose. Your knowledge and support to so many of us has been priceless. You know more than my vet! Let Lola's legacy be your continued passion to save others from this horror.  XXXs

Thank you for the kind words.  Yes....she was a beautiful girl and she knew it too.  She was a girly girl.....I think she thought she was a poodle.  She even liked her toenails painted.  She was a silly girl.

Blasto is a horrible disease and I will always do whatever I can to help.  However, little that may be,

Lisakuhlmann:  I want to thank you for your encouragement when I was looking for her.  That was very sweet of you as I am sure you had other things on your mind.  Maybe your right about Lola.  I would never let everything she went through be for naught.   Hugs and kisses and prayers for an end to this horrible disease.
