   I was reading the stories here on the human side of the site, and it almost seems our dogs receive better treatment. 
   Some might benefit by using MiraVista's services to help diagnose not just Blasto, but Histo and other dangerous fungal diseases, as well as to monitor the efficacy of treatment. (The best is their urine antigen test.)
  It can save time, heartbreak, and help to optimize treatment for people as well as our dogs. 
Of course, if a doctor doesn't suspect a fungal infection, it's of no use at all. Continuing education is invaluable.   
   In the last 2 years, we've watched MiraVista help save our animals' lives.  Let your doctors know that this is an excellent (and pretty affordable) tool -much cheaper and lots more accurate than PET scans and MRIs.

Biopsies were the main testing  for when I had blasto. Thats how they found it and I had one every two months  until I was cleared of it(was sick for 17 months). I did have all the other testing done as well but biopsies told for sure if it was still there or gone.

The Drs told me that 1 in every 25 people tested the way you are talking about will test poaitive but their bodys just know how to fight this but 1 in 100,000 just are not so lucky and the only way is to do all the cool tests to find out for sure if it is like my daughters. If only it would be that easy though. Thanks for your input
