from farm and fleet in a tub ( I think it was in a tub) that someone did used to add calories for there dog?
A guy at work could really use the stuff!

Hi Kristen,

I don't know about anything at Farm Fleet in a tub.  But as I wrote Liz, Science Diet (I know, I know) has a canned food called Recovery Diet.  We give it to animals who come into the Humane Society shelter who have been starved.  It is VERY high in nutrients and proteins and if the animal will eat it, very good for them.  Quite fattening, I hear.  Apparently Science Diet was careful to make it palatable.  My Bella ate some for awhile when she was dying of cancer.  Ultimately, it didn't help her but it surely helped me to see her eat something!

Science diet has a product called Prescription Diet A/D that is 44% protein and 30% fat.  It's in a can and I've used it with recovering dogs.  When Knighty had blasto we supplemented his diet with it. 

There's also a product called STAT, it's a liquid and contains tons of electrolytes and calories.  I used this when a dog ran too hard hunting and was what I called "skinny sick", or would throw up any food that they managed to eat.  I don't think that Stat is meant to be a primary diet source, but rather emergency calories.

Thanks It wasn't that stuff though..
it was something given to calves Joyce sent me some you add it to the diet
