well the tests have come back...
« on: June 21, 2010, 02:27:28 PM »

??? well the doc came into the room and told me and my husband "good news".. no signs of cancer or blasto!!!  OK now what??? no explanation for the nodules in his chest, or on his thyroid gland now, nor any reason for enlarged spleen.. He just said lets wait a month and take another chest x-ray.. I'm so mad!!! I have mixed emotions on this.. after reading so many of your posts on here, saying how it got overlooked, midiagnosed, and so on.. MY husband is fine with the news.. He says great no more missed work for doc appts and tests.. Should I push for a second opinion??  ??? thanks for hearing me rant..

How horribly frustrating!
Go with your gut feeling... it will always guide you in the path
I learned the hard way buy waiting but that was use. How well do you trust the Dr?
How is your husband feeling?

well he says he feels fine most of the time.. I have worked in the medical field for many years and the nurses at work say the doc is a good one but if it were their husbands they would want a second opinion. My husband doesnt want to go through all the tests again so its been a hard decision, for both of us.. Cancer is very prevelent on his side of the family and with the nodule they found on his thyroid and the nodules in his lungs I'm just afraid of waiting.. Maybe I'm jumping the gun.. dont know..  ???

it is soooo hard to know what is right to do
Go with your gut feeling it always is the right way for me to go.
With Wilson 2 x's I knew to keep digging for the right answer (I know he is a dog but....) it may sound strange but I just knew
Goes with a lot of things when it comes to my son or dogs when dong to the Dr or vet I go to my quite place and think about it not to hard  or long because then you start to question your gut feeling then the answer may be wrong
i so hope you find answers soon and sorry I am not much help your family is also in my thought and prayers
