  Bailey has a small lesion on her paw pad and she has be licking it a lot. We have an appointment at the vet tomorrow! Prayers or good thoughts will be appreciated. Hopefully it is not Blasto!

OK,
  We went to the vet appt. Bailey had a slight temp, slightly labored breathing, they took an X-ray, but it looked fine. She had a slightly enlarged lymph node near the lesion on the paw. The vet is not sure if it is blasto or not. They are VERY knowledgeable here in this area on blasto.
     She also took a swab from the lesion and didn't find anything. She said if it turned into an open wound with puss, then she might get a more definitive answer.
 I could get the Mira Vista, but she suggested to wait a while and keep a close eye on Bailey and take her temp every few days.
 Bailey is now on antibiotics and I will have a very close eye on her!

Hi Cathy-
Any news on Bailey yet?  I have a small dog that first contracted blasto 3 years ago and I believe she is relapsing now (waiting to hear today or Monday on her MiraVista urine test).  I am so interested in reading the entries of other families dealing with this- the support and info are invaluable.  Hope and pray that Bailey is OK!
